Cenegenics has pioneered the development of Age Management Medicine since 1997. The Cenegenics non-profit, Age Management Medicine Education Foundation (AMMEF), has a mission to provide evidence-based education in Age Management Medicine, develop best practice standards in the prevention of disease, and engage in ongoing research and affiliation expansion aimed at improving science and medicine. Hundreds of physicians both worldwide have successfully completed the certification in Age Management Medicine.
The non-profit trains and certifies physicians in Age Management Medicine. The program is designed to educate physicians in this growing field of medicine so they can offer their patients a higher quality of care and ensure their patients are at optimal levels, both mentally and physically, at any age. Rea Espinoza oversees the three-part educational program and recalls that prior to integrating Litmos, Cenegenics contracted with a 3rd party IT company to manage the courses through a different learning medium. Since this company was located offshore, it was difficult to make changes or updates to the curriculum on-demand. It typically took one to two weeks for a simple content change to be implemented.
In order to create a better educational program and manage the constantly changing needs of the curriculum, AMMEF looked at various LMS options to satisfy the following criteria:
- Easy user interface for busy physicians to take trainings at their convenience.
- Accurate reporting functionality on login time and module completion.
- Post-course surveys to meet Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) requirements.
