We’ve provided a tool that helps administrators locate HTTP protocol links within Litmos Training.

We released this tool to help administrators to prepare for the deprecation of HTTP protocol within Litmos Training.

Account Owners can access the HTTP Content tile on the Features page in Administrator view. The tool isn’t available for Content Only customers.

HTTP links can be found in multiple places, depending on the area. Each entry in the list can have multiple HTTP links. The entry will be removed from the tab when all links are resolved. The following provides details on where to look for HTTP links within each area.

Milestone	Date	Definition
End of Development	February 18, 2022	The deprecation milestone after which SAP stops enhancing a product or part of a product. You can continue to use the software, but you should begin planning for a time when it will no longer be available for use. We still fix high-priority bugs.
End of Maintenance	May 20, 2022	The deprecation milestone after which SAP does not fix bugs or deliver patches for the software. SAP continues to answer your how-to questions. We strongly encourage you to adopt an alternative method for your business scenario.
Deleted	May 19, 2023	The deprecation milestone when a feature is no longer available for productive use. You should now be using an alternative method for your business scenario.

Deprecation Details

For security reasons, we’re ending support of HTTP. To give customers time to change from HTTP to HTTPS, we’ll end support in stages.

• As of the End of Development date, customers that are currently using HTTP URLs should start planning to change those URLs to use HTTPS. Any new fields that Litmos adds to the application after this date won’t allow entry of an HTTP value. While not recommended, entry of HTTP values in existing fields is permitted.
• After the End of Maintenance date, existing HTTP values will still function but customers won’t be allowed to enter HTTP values in any field in the application.
• After the Deleted date, any remaining HTTP URLs won’t function. This includes custom domains, which must use HTTPS.
