Before SAP Litmos, Playtech had no centralized employee training and development resource. Now, for the first time, a single system is in use company-wide, creating a unified source of knowledge, a tighter onboarding process for new hires and, above all, a comprehensive source of product information and wider learning options. Employees can develop their knowledge, source specialist training from in-house SMEs, and engage with the Playtech Academy team, increasing the sense of being part of a global company. The implementation of SAP Litmos within Playtech has been a great success, with more than 5,000 team members already actively using the system. To encourage uptake and increase engagement, the Playtech Academy team created Academy Club – a gamification program that allows learners to earn points when they complete any course on SAP Litmos. To fully incentivize learning, employees must accumulate at least 160 points during the year to qualify for rewards.
With SAP Litmos Boosts, Playtech is enabling learning continuity by sending periodic questions to learners, making sure they continue to use their knowledge and to maintain product engagement. A monthly Academy Slots Race, in which learners play Playtech Casino games and compete for rewards, helps team members become familiar with the company’s new releases, with participants offering valuable feedback to the product team about their game experience while earning points for their contributions.
