Agenda Highlight: Must-see Keynote
We’re beyond excited to present this year’s keynote session, Why Learning that Instills Purpose & Belonging is Essential, in which we’re partnering with our SAP colleagues from SuccessFactors and Qualtrics. The session will feature Jill Popelka, President, SAP SuccessFactors, and Cecilia Herbert, Lead Employee Experience Scientist, Qualtrics, and will be moderated by our very own Jennifer Kling, Vice President, Marketing, SAP Litmos.
In the spirit of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) theme throughout Litmos LIVE, you’ll notice that it’s an all-female keynote with a global flair, as Cecilia heads the Employee Experience Advisory Services and Consulting for Qualtrics in Asia Pacific, and will be presenting her pieces of the session from her home location in Australia. Jill and Jennifer will be together in-studio from the Bay Area of California.

As DE&I becomes increasingly important, what can companies do to help people feel a sense of belonging and purpose within the organization? Rachel Cooke, COO, and Claude Werder, SVP and HCM Principal Analyst, for Brandon Hall Group will lead this session on why DE&I has never been more important or more top of mind for businesses. It is in fact the top priority for human capital management investment for employers in 2021, according to Brandon Hall Group research, with 76% of employers saying the social justice movement that started in 2020 increased the urgency for improvement. Organizations that paid little attention to DE&I must now forge a strategic plan with little preparation. Employers that were actively involved in improving it are now asked to quickly deliver business results. The session will outline the top DE&I investment priorities for 2021 and offer strategies for bridging the gap between perceptions employers have about their levels of inclusion and the reality. It will also provide insights on the roles of Learning and Development and technology in driving inclusion.
