Top 100 Learning Tools #C4LPT

Learning Tools

It’s that time of year again when Jane Hart’s Centre for Learning and Performance Technologies (C4LPT) opens the contributions for their Top 100 Tools for Learning list.

This year for the 3rd year running Twitter is already at the top of the list, with YouTube a very close second, and Google docs right behind in third; the same top three as 2010.

It’s not about winners and losers though, this list has essentially just become a great resource for anyone looking for online tools that facilitate learning. I notice there aren’t ever really any commercial learning management systems on the list, except a few open source course management options, and Blackboard, but I’m guessing that’s because of their edu focus.

There are always so many products and tools on the list every year that I haven’t heard about, so it’s cool to be able to check them out and see what other people find useful. It’s also neat to see the ones that grow in popularity year on year.

Head on over to the C4LPT site now to share your top ten tools! 😉
