What is Online Facilitation?

Facilitating isn’t quite the same as traditional teaching or instructing. It’s a skill of its own, and requires a whole other set of competencies. It’s a more modern approach – you’re presenting information and theories and allowing the learners to reach their own conclusions. After all, now, we can learn a huge number of skills online. There are videos, courses, texts, and everything we could possibly need to gain understanding on a wide range of topics. Think about it. How do you learn things fast? Last time you wanted to make a tiramisu or attempt to fix that pesky toilet leak… you probably looked online for the answer.
