When looking for an online training platform, DSC needed a customised eCommerce integration, so they could make courses and resources available via their website. DSC wanted to make these training resources accessible for individuals and L&D teams working in the disability sector. DSC training content and resources are now accessible via their website; learners can put desired resources and training into one cart, automatically assigning a range of courses to multiple learners without needing assistance from the DSC team. DSC’s customisation of the platform also gives the impression of an in-house solution in line with the content they create. In collaboration with Arts Project Australia, a social enterprise that promotes artists with intellectual disabilities, DSC were able to give their platform’s login page a unique look and feel.
DSC content is presented in plain English, focused on accurately portraying the voice of people relevant to the NDIS. This plain-speaking approach to content is authentic, relatable and a go-to resource for healthcare industry workers across Australia – and it’s accessible via SAP Litmos Training. One of DSC values is to focus on what works best (for you, not us), and this is reflected in a course they made freely available via SAP Litmos. As part of their ‘Supporting People to Stay Infection Free’ support worker training suite, initial data for this free DSC module saw 38,555 learners enroll with an 80 per cent completion rate.
Looking to the future, DSC intend to branch out and create more content for support workers. They will offer two main categories of customer-facing training for management and support workers. These interactive and informative eLearning modules will be available and accessible via their custom Shopify integration with the LMS.
