Why Learning that Instills Purpose & Belonging is Essential

May 5 2021, 8:00 AM PDT / 11:00 AM EDT

Attend this important keynote conversation to hear from two leaders in employee experience – and its deep effect on people’s lives. As Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) becomes increasingly important, what can companies do to help people feel a sense of belonging and purpose within the organization? The effects of doing so drive proven productivity and business performance improvements, and are clearly the moral right choice, but many companies don’t know where to start. Training must play a central role in driving the behavioral transformation that will allow new expectations for DE&I to be met.

Digital Learning Fatigue and Its Impact on Transformative Training

May 5 2021, 9:00 AM PDT / 12:00 noon EDT

Whether we like it or not we are all Digital Learning providers now!
But whilst there has been a surge in adoption of digital learning, there are some worrying signs that we still haven’t learned from the past 20 years what makes e-learning effective. Given that over 70% of learning professionals report that digital learning fatigue is a problem – (up 50% as a result of the pandemic) we need to think much more carefully about how technology supports learning. With the prospect of a new era of hybrid working, and the significant challenges of climate change, sustainability and the 4th Industrial revolution meaning that training and learning new skills is even more important – what should we be thinking about to ensure digital learning fit for the modern workforce?

Based on Fosway’s latest research, David Perring, Director of Research, will explore:

  • • How COVID-19 changed corporate learning forever
  • • The successes and failures of learning over the past year
  • • L&D’s central role in the value-chain to power more agile and resilient organisations
  • • How L&D teams need to rethink digital learning to combat learning fatigue and better develop people’s skills and behaviours for future transformations

  • • And seven more…

Driving Inclusion — A Roadmap for Success

May 5 2021, 11:00 AM PDT / 2:00 PM EDT

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) has never been more important or more top of mind for businesses. In fact, it’s the top priority for human capital management investment for employers in 2021, according to Brandon Hall Group research, and 76% of employers say the social justice movement that started in 2020 increased the urgency for improvement.

Organizations that paid little attention to DE&I must now forge a strategic plan with little preparation. Employers that were actively involved in improving it are now asked to quickly deliver business results. Brandon Hall Group, the leading independent HCM analyst firm, which does extensive D&I research, will host this session to provide perspective and guidance about building a culture of inclusion across your enterprise.

You’ll leave this session with:

  • • Top DE&I investment priorities for 2021
  • • Strategies for bridging the gap between perceptions employers have about their levels of inclusion and the reality
  • • Insights on the roles of Learning and Development and technology in driving inclusion
  • • A framework to shape or enhance your DE&I journey, and success stories to guide your path

Building a Future-Proofed Learning Ecosystem: Insights from a Year of a Quarantine

May 5 2021, 1:00 PM PDT / 4:00 PM EDT

Although learning organizations couldn’t engage in-person with their learners this past year, they did come face-to-face with the realization that their LMS and broader learning ecosystem weren’t built for rapid change.

While many learning organizations thrived, even more found that the new virtual requirements, new learning workflows, and new use cases could not be supported easily or at all with their current solution and integration capabilities. Those organizations were forced to build, buy and band aid their way forward – on top of all the other required changes. What did they do wrong? What’s changed? What integrations, features and technology were they missing? What does it take to build your own future-proofed learning ecosystem?

Attend this informative and fun presentation to learn all about the modern learning ecosystem, as well as:

  • • The impact of sudden digital training transformation
  • • How to recognize problems in your ecosystem
  • • How LMS integration works (or should work)
  • • The difference between APIs, productized integrations, and webhooks
  • • The most popular LMS integration types and why

Surviving the Cultural Reset – Learning Content of the Future

May 5 2021, 9:00 AM PDT / 12:00 PM EDT

The term ‘cultural reset’ gets thrown about a lot these days. Britney’s Toxic may have seemed the biggest this century, but for an event that really changes the way we all live and work, you can’t look past the last year or so.

The important thing is we don’t dwell on it, but improve, adapt, and change how we operate in this new working landscape. It’s never been more important for you to learn, now, what you need to do to avoid being left behind. That’s where learning content comes in.

Our expert panel will discuss the shifting zeitgeist. How content can help you better handle the roaring 20s and beyond. Issues from women’s health, the value of improving your creativity, millennials in management to generational differences, and all ‘round personal development are all on the table.

Learn how to survive the cultural reset.

Human Intelligence (HI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Amplify Diversity

May 5 2021, 12:00 noon PDT / 3:00 PM EDT

Changes the world experienced in 2020 are amplified in 2021 as society is forcing workplaces to progress to support employees and remain ethical. Changes include: evolution of a health pandemic, rise in racial equality across Black and Asian ethnic groups, advanced awareness of Women’s rights, societal attentiveness to gender issues, and acceptance of non-traditional marriage rights.

“Not work acceptable” conversations are vital, and for employees to excel in promoting diversity, equity and inclusivity (DEI), they must practice.

This session introduces you to Humanify® DEI+ BOT, an artificial intelligence platform that complements Litmos’ diversity content and/or your content to enable employees to rehearse these uncomfortable conversations, while receiving real-time feedback and coaching.

Often, companies hit the ground running and only realize after some type of lawsuit or catastrophe that effective training is needed to ensure all employees understand the legal, OSHA, and regulatory requirements of their business. Whether you’re a one-person L&D hero or an L&D leader blessed with a team of experienced specialists, building training that keeps everyone compliant across multiple states, verticals, and/or countries is incredibly challenging in today’s fast paced world. It’s ALL important, so where do you start if you’re already behind the proverbial 8-ball? Should this be live, virtual, eLearning, or blended? How do you guarantee understanding and adherence? Who’s responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of legal and/or regulatory requirements?

Sales Learning Academy: An Online Platform to Power Sales Training

May 5 2021, 9:00 AM PDT / 12:00 noon EDT

To enhance customer experience, Avery Dennison’s sales team needed strong product and technical knowledge. Additionally, their sales team needed to be proficient as trusted advisors capable of solving customer problems, rather than ‘typical salespeople’. To build team capability for product and technical knowledge they started with the traditional approach to Learning: one learning solution fits all, prescribing to the team what to learn. Following this, they provided classroom learning. But it wasn’t scalable due to logistics and geography. Webinar sessions had comparatively low learner engagement. It was clear this wasn’t working, with high costs and time spent, low learner motivation and little change. To address capability gaps they created a ‘Sales Learning Academy’ using Litmos.

Yes, People Really Matter! Transform Your Business Around Human Experience.

May 5 2021, 12:00 noon PDT / 3:00 PM EDT

There’s a common refrain in businesses that you solve problems with a combination of “people, process, and technology.” While that’s a catchy phrase, it’s not what really happens. Most efforts end up overly focusing on process and technology, and people are at best an afterthought. But this trend is ending. As organizations build the capabilities to better understand and respond to the needs of people, human experience will emerge as a key area of focus in any effort that touches customers, employees, or partners. During this session, you’ll learn how to better understand and cater to human beings in every aspect of your business.

Attend this session to:

  • • Learn about the Human Experience Cycle, which explains how people process experiences
  • • See the capabilities required to embed Experience Management (XM) in every aspect of your business
  • • Receive practical advice on how to use XM and start transforming your organization
