Litmos is a successful software as a service (SaaS) learning management system (LMS) that makes life easier for learning professionals all around the globe. Every day we securely deliver and track content for small and medium sized companies right up to large organizations from our servers hosted at Rackspace. However, we understand that due to various reasons a SaaS solution doesn't fit with every organization.

For organizations that require their LMS be installed behind a firewall we offer a full featured, installable version of Litmos.

System Requirements

Litmos has been optimized to run efficiently on a single server but your hardware requirements may vary based on the size of your organization and the type of content you want to deliver.

In terms of software, Litmos has been built using Microsoft .Net technology and therefore has the following minimum requirements:

  • Windows Server 2008
  • IIS7
  • SQL Server 2008

Getting started

Litmos does not offer a trial version of the installed product as it operates almost identically to our SaaS version. If you haven't yet trialled Litmos to work out if it fits with your organization please sign up here for a trial.
