Conflicts of Interest
Almost every week brings news reports of an employee who engaged in an activity tainted by a conflict of interest. Conflicts of interest can create bad publicity, damage an organization’s reputation, and interfere with an organization’s performance.
In this course, employees will learn to recognize and avoid conflicts of interest, particularly with regard to handling personal, financial, and family interests; dealing with customers and suppliers; handling offers of gifts and entertainment; and taking on outside employment in addition to their primary role. Having completed this course, honesty and integrity will make up the basis of all their future decision-making activities.
