Edgen Murray originally needed a learning management system for their ~600 staff members after getting a new inventory management system. Their L&D team implemented a LMS on a three-year contract that they never fully utilized. They were only using it for compliance training and new hire training, and after seeing it was never used on a volunteer basis, they realized they weren’t getting a whole lot of value for the amount of money they were spending. Because of how unfriendly the solution was, they decided to stop using it with one year left in the contract.
As a longtime ADP user, they attended an ADP conference and learned about the ADP Marketplace. They were introduced to the Litmos LMS and discovered that it would seamlessly integrate with ADP and was incredibly user-friendly. Litmos checked all the boxes and was selected as their new LMS vendor. They had a successful launch, enabling all of their employees with everything they needed to know about their new training program.
Our journey with Litmos and ADP has been a tremendous experience. Our HR group has been transformed from having very little knowledge of the L&D discipline to successfully working with an LMS…. We now have the ability and know-how to create positive and meaningful courses while meeting our training compliance challenges.
