Configuring System Pull Down Values
Pull-Down Values Use the pull-down screen to define values found on system pull-down menus in the application. The pull-downs are designed to add your terms, groupings, etc to the application to customize it to your business practices.
Course/Event Types – The Course/Event type pull-down is found on the schedule screen and determines the type of the schedule. Example values include: Onsite, Customer Course/Event, Live Web Conference, Self-paced eLearning, Archived Web Conference, and Podcast. Use this pull-down to group your schedules.
Personnel Types – The Personnel type pull-down is found on the personnel screen and is used to categories you personnel. Example values include: Instructor, Sr. Instructor, Course Developer, Contractor, Guest Speaker, and on-site greeter. Use this pull-down value to add a type to your personnel records.
Registration Status – The Registration Status pull-down is found on the registration screens and determines the current status of the registration. Example values include: New, Pending Payment, Confirmed, and Waiting List. Use this pull-down value to add your registration process or stages to the system.
Next Action – The Next Action pull-down is found on the registration screens and determines the next action that should occur for the registration. Example values include: Callback, Verify Payment, and Send Invoice. Use this pull-down to value add your registration process or stages to the system
Amenity Types – The Amenity Types pull-down is found on the Amenity tab of the location record and determines the type of amenity. Example values include: Hotel, Restaurant, Parking, and Ground Transportation. Use this pull-down to provide attendees with information about the amenities available in the area of the course/event location.
Payment Methods – The Payment Methods pull-down is found on the Scheduling Options screen and determines what payment methods are available for the course/event, location or schedule. Example values include: Purchase Credits, Credit Card, Check, and Purchase Order. Use this pull-down to display the types of payment methods you will accept.
Location Groups – The Location Groups pull-down is found on the Location screen and is used to group locations. Example values include: North America, EMEA and APAC. Use this pull-down to group your locations together by physical or organizational needs.
Expense Categories – The Expense Categories pull-down is found on the Expenses tab of the schedule screen and is used to determine the types of expenses on the schedule. Example values include: Travel, Materials, Location Rental, and Catering. Use this pull-down to define your expense types for tracking in the admin views and reporting.
Question Categories – The Question Categories pull-down is found on the questions screen and is used to group questions together. Example values include: Background Experience, Instructor Evaluation, Materials Evaluation, and Miscellaneous. Use this pull-down to group your questions.
Organization Types – The Organization Type pull-down is found on the Organizations screen and is used to determine the type of attendee organizations. The Organizations feature is an optional add-in and may not be enabled on your account. Example values include: Customer, Partner, Reseller and Employee. Language Categories – The Language Category pull-down is located on the Schedule screen and is used to display the language the course/event will be presented in. Example values include: English, French, German and Spanish. Use this pull-down to determine the presentation language of the schedule.
To enter pull-down values:

Select Administration Menu -> Definitions -> Pull-Down Values.

Select a pull-down category.

Enter the value.

Click Save. The new value appears in the list at the bottom of the screen
To add another pull-down value:
1. Click New and repeat steps 2-4.
To change a pull-down value:

Click the zoom arrow to the left of the item.

Make any needed changes.

Click Save.
To delete a pull-down value:

Click the zoom arrow to the left of the item.

Click Delete.

Click Ok in the pop-up window.
