Importing the CSV file:
- Navigate to the existing assessment or Create a new assessment module.
- Select’ Options’ From the Questions sub-tab on the right and then ‘Import questions in bulk.’
- Click ‘Choose File’ and then Open the file.
- Select ‘The first row of my file contains column titles.
- Click ‘Upload’ and then wait a moment for the screen to refresh.
- Once the screen refreshes, see the imported questions populated in the Questions sub-tab.
Helpful Hints:
- Because this is a comma-delimited file, a common reason why the import will fail is if a question or answer contains commas in the text. To avoid this, put quotes around the answer or question that contains a comma.
- If quotes are added to a cell, Excel may include additional quotes. Check all files in Notepad before importing them to ensure that quotes only appear once.
