By the year 2050 there will be 10 billion people on planet earth. In this short course we explore the difficulties we face feeding our ever-growing global population. And with resources like space and water becoming increasingly scarce, we see how the agriculture industry is responding to these challenges with innovative solutions. In this course we explore how scientists and farmers are using pioneering techniques in food production to improve the quality of life for all of humankind, by highlighting two different strategies that illustrate how the green revolution is alive and well.
