Contract Management (US)
Contracts are a part of life. Almost everything we do, from buying a cup of coffee to signing on to a cell phone plan, is regulated by the rules of contract law. This course introduces a basic understanding of contract law in the United States. It covers three key areas – contract formation, contract rights and obligations, and contract performance and termination.
This training is aimed at employees who work with contracts in their day-to-day roles and do not have a legal background, such as those in sales, procurement, or HR.
Contract law isn’t just for lawyers. People working in sales, procurement, or HR also deal with contracts. Understanding the basics of contract law helps with business relationships and transactions.
