Duty of Care
Taking care of and supporting others can be incredibly rewarding – but it also comes with a moral and legal responsibility referred to as a Duty of Care. It helps ensure individuals we care for and support are kept safe from harm, abuse, and injury, making for a more effective workplace, free from possible civil and criminal liability. This course provides employees with an understanding of their duty of care. Topics covered include duty of care as a concept, its implications, how it affects work, and what to do and where to go for advice in duty of care dilemmas.
