Family Medical Leave Act for Employees (US)
Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law that gives eligible employees of covered employers the right to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave, for specified family or medical reasons, in a 12-month period. It helps employees relieve the stress from worrying about keeping their job at an already difficult time.
