Hierarchy of Controls – Overview (Toolbox talks) (AU)
The best way to keep everyone safe in the workplace is to remove the risk of harm. But sometimes it’s not possible to remove risks completely. That’s where the hierarchy of controls comes in.
This microlearning course is an introduction to the hierarchy of controls. It provides a simple overview of the hierarchy using language that is accessible to everyone in the workplace. It follows a single example scenario – controlling the risk of slipping in the workplace – to demonstrate how risks can be removed or reduced using each of the control measures in the hierarchy. It is part of the Toolbox Talks series.
