Culture Series – The Importance of Whistleblowing
The demand for greater corporate accountability and for employees to have a voice has increased the focus on whistleblowing. Many organizations now have whistleblowing guidelines as part of their code of conduct, and a secure way for their employees to “blow the whistle” or “make a disclosure”. Yet, the purpose of whistleblowing is still not widely understood, and whistleblowing stigma still exists.
Using real-life situations and interactive design, this course helps to build a shared understanding of why whistleblowing is important and the situations that call for it.
