Introduction to UB Validation, Part Two
This course identifies the components of the UB for inpatient and outpatient claims as well as bill validation techniques.
- Evaluate the hundreds of codes available and 81 form locators for both inpatient and outpatient claims; and analyze and validate that the codes and data are appropriate prior to claim submission
- Sequence the revenue codes in FL 42 appropriately
- Assign the correct type of bill in FL 4.
- Arrange appropriate information in Lines A, B and C of FL 50 to 66
