Plant Safety (AU)
There is plant in almost every workplace, from factories to offices and retail stores. It encompasses items as diverse as lifts, cranes, computers, machinery, conveyors, forklifts, vehicles, power tools and amusement devices. Plant is also a major cause of workplace death and injury in Australian organisations. To minimise the risk of injury around plant in your workplace, it is essential that, whatever their role, workers comply with work health and safety law.
