As managers and supervisors, it’s important to address the risks associated with alcohol or drugs in the workplace. When a worker’s use or misuse of alcohol or drugs interferes with their ability to perform their work, this raises legitimate concerns for employers. This course is guidance for managers about alcohol and drug use in the workplace. It covers strategies for implementing an alcohol and drug policy, and steps to take if someone in the workplace is affected by alcohol or drugs. This course should be done with the general awareness course for all employees, “Alcohol and Drugs Awareness”.
