Victorian Child Safe Standards – We All Have a Role to Play (AU)
Research shows that providing safe environments for children is associated with positive, lifelong outcomes. Victoria has mandatory standards that apply to organisations that provide services for children to help protect them from abuse. The Victorian Child Safe Standards aim to promote child safety, prevent child abuse and make sure allegations of child abuse get responded to properly.
This course explains the standards and their obligations to foster a child safe environment. It covers how to recognise signs of child abuse and follow correct reporting procedure.
